Set up is simple, which is always good. You simply take the dock out of its packaging, plug it into the mains, pop your iPad in and you’re done.But if you aren’t lucky enough to have access to an iPad, you can always use your iPhone or iPod Touch device. We tried all three and had no issues whatsoever – just pop in the device and press play. Simple.In addition to this, Logic 3 has also developed a free application for iPad and iPhone that you can download and use in conjunction with the docking station.
Once you’ve downloaded the free application, you get access to a World Clock, Weather, Alarm Clock and Photos, as well as Play List Control.
Having said that, it’s still a nice touch on Logic 3’s part to include it as part of the service.
All in all, this is not the best iPad dock/speaker/charging unit we’ve ever seen – in fact, it’s not even close.
